Max: This Is The End

Yesterday was my last day in the High Speed Internet department. Appropriately, it was one of the shittiest I have had in a long time. Tomorrow I start training for the Telephony department. From what I have heard from they who have already moved over there, it is a brainless job for the most part. As Telephony deals only with cable lines and VOIP convertors there is none of the frustration that comes from dealing with virus and spyware ("I never had these kind of problems when I was with AOL") laiden computers.

The thing I am most looking forward to is that for at least the next two weeks, I will be off of the phones. After spending the better part of a decade being the whipping boy for peple who seem to think that the worse they treat me the better I will treat them, two weeks in a training class sounds almost like a vacation.

Congrats on getting paid more for doing less! That's how life SHOULD be.

I LOVE YOU!!!

BTW Jer- I dig the new layout. It looks professional. Is there a way to justify the text in the posts, though? It would look even nicer if there was a smooth line on the side insdead of the jagged words- it's kind of distracting to me. But then, I'm a designer and lots of things annoy me.

Whoa! Talk to your hubby. He did this rework. I encouraged him and all, but he's the man with the plan.

I plan to readd the ads, guest book and tracking software, Maxie, so no sweat. If you want, I'll do the Blog Roll as well. Or will that be too crowded for our new motif paradigm?

The comments just POP up - like they should. Love it! This was such a good idea, Max. Thanks for doing all this! Now if we could just get a date next to that time stamp ... hmmm ...

There is already a links template on the right. So far there is just a link to Google News and to instructions on how to edit it.

Sadly, know. I lack such useful skills. This was point a click web design, with just a touch of cut and paste.

"Sadly, KNOW"? :-) hehehehe.

Anyway, so you stole this design from someone? You know, some graphic designer somewhere is starving because of you.

J/K. It looks great, and who really cares how you got it to look that way?

What really matters is that there are rich people getting slightly richer off of me.

So, why is it that over under "contributors" it has Max's last name but not Jericho's?

I think it's pulling from our Blogger profiles - I don't have my last name listed. It does the same thing here in the Comments.

Because Jer, like Sting, Madonna and Pele, only needs one name.
