Advertising one's blog is never easy. Long time readers, or those who have slogged through our archives, know some of the battles we have fought to get readership for this blog. What's the point of putting up a blog if no one reads it? If no one comments on your posts? If no one clicks on your ads? Bloging is just writing notes to yourself if no one else is reading it.
So, today, a new day begins for blogists everywhere. I am proud to announce that I and my business partner have launched a new service. Please have a look at BlogBallyhoo.com.

Ya know. Being my friend has it's perks. Friends of mine might get a discount on ads, maybe even a large one .... :)
The last time I checked my blog was already listed there.
No one wants to read my blog, and I don't blame them, so why barrage them with ads for a crappy blog? :-)
Do I only have two friends who a) read this blog and b) are bloggists?

It's early yet. We have 33 tiles occupied. That's a start. Of course, 30 of those tiles point here to IWDC. Proof of concept: even with just a week or so under our belts, Blog Ballyhoo has already pushed traffic to IWDC. I can point to it in our logs.
More will come, we just have to get our message out there. We are running ads on Google - you might see some pop up on this page eventually. We have over 100k impressions and dozens of click throughs. We are getting hits, and we are planning more advertising for the site.
A little time and some adventurous bloggists and we will have a product! Someone has to be an early adopter - we're on the cutting edge here.
Just remember to send a few stock options my way when you guys turn into the new Google.
