It's LOP-SIDED, I say!
Are my current basses symetrical? No.
Are many basses symetrical? No.
Are the few that are symetrical butt ugly and unbalananced? Yes.
So there.
There's a difference between symectrical and ballanced. That bass is visually not ballanced. It's an art/design thing, I wouldn't expect you to understand. ;-)
