Bush Claims Right to Open Mail
The New York Daily News today reports on a signing statement President Bush quietly issued two weeks ago, in which he asserts his right to open mail without a warrant.
Signing statements have historically been used by presidents mostly to explain how they intend to enforce the laws passed by Congress; Bush has used them to quietly assert his right to ignore those laws.

Is the man TRYING to get impeached? Does he think he's freakin' untouchable?
Yes he does. And sadly, he is basically untouchable at this point because no one wants to impeach him because of how "hard" it would be on the country. I think we're being harder on the country NOT impeaching the man. Unfortunately, I don't get a say so in that decision.
Pelosi won't let him be impeached. It will mean either installing Cheney as President, or impeaching them both and then making herself Pres and spending a couple of years being called a usurper. She would be far less of a usurper than President "I wish I was a dictator", but it won't happen.
