VOD. I saw a vid of their song "Everything Must Go" and immediately gabbed their album. I was bored last night and was casting wide nets on Youtube in the hopes of finding entertainment. When I hunted for Manic Street Preachers, that is one of the vids that came up.
That would explain why the term "Manic Street Preachers" kept coming up yesterday while I was on Google looking up a few things about Suicide is Painless. Did you know Marilyn Manson did a cover of SiP? Sick ... but perfect for him!
I found a copy of the lyrics, the original lyrics: much darker than I would have imagined! Depressing shit!
An interesting side note, Robert Altman was paid $60,000 to direct M*A*S*H while his son, who wrote the lyrics to "Suicide is Painless" has earned over a million in royalties.
