Yet the holy book at tomorrow's ceremony has an unassailably all-American provenance. We've learned that the new congressman -- in a savvy bit of political symbolism -- will hold the personal copy once owned by Thomas Jefferson.

When will the Christian Reich wake up and smell the coffee? America is about religious freedom without fear! Fear got his'self hung the other day.
Fear is the best way to keep the cattle in line. Put enough fear in people and they will put up with almost any transgression in the name of safety.
