Jericho: Oh, FUCK yeah!!
Sorry to flood the channel with YouTube music video .... but ... :)
Irish flutes, heavy guitars and a head banging chick with big pipes in a corset! I don't have any clue what to call this - "awesome" comes to mind ...

If someone had taken the time to explain to the singer that she is no Kate Bush and pulled her vocals a little further back in the mix, that would have been moderately awesome.
She's got a voice, dude (I suddenly feel like Randy to your Simon!)
As over the top as the rest of the band is, she would have been bowled over if she had done anything less than totally go for it.
Having said all of that, I'm not exactly rushing to buy this album. The band is refreshing, but I am stingy with my album dollar.
Her voice is not horrible, but it floats so far above the rest of the track. The whole thing would sound much more balanced if her voice was just a bit deeper in the mix.
You might be right. I bet they sound wicked live!
PeDUlla.
Yep. I don't get that one.
The bass player is (I think, I never got a clear look) is playing a Pedulla Thunderbass. Once many years ago you saw an ad for Pedulla in one of my bass mags and went around saying "PeDUlla" at random for a while.
Tuna.
One of my most prescious memories of the past year is the look on your face when you remembered what I was talking about when I mentioned "tuna".
Alright, I think I was right about the "live" aspect, check it out for yourself:

Proabably as close as we will get to getting Kate Bush together with Dream Theatre!
It's not as novel when you are as familiar with as many DT clones as I am.
Not bad though.
