He will face external temperatures of minus 100c while inside his carbon-fibre suit it will be a stifling 65c - almost 150 fahrenheit.
And most amazing of all, Michel Fournier is actually looking forward to it.

Yikes!
This reminds me of a sci-fi thing I saw once. These people would be tossed into low orbit in a device that would ablate off as they reentered the atmosphere. Then they would race to the ground and land with something like a parachute - or the sci-fi equivalent. The closest to the target zone and soonest to touch ground won.
