Eek.I remember that. It was sometime in the early nineties, part of the post Warsaw Pact, "the Ruskies ain't so bad" vibe.
Oh, gods! Look around YouTube for the Leningrad Cowboys. There is a version of "Stairway to Heaven" that "makes me wonder" ...
That was a riot! I love how serious they are as they play. You can hear the audience laughing, but they keep playing it straight. Classic!
