Max: The Metal Monk

Via the BBC

At first glance, Cesare Bonizzi looks like the archetypal Capuchin monk - round-faced, stout, with twinkling eyes and a long flowing white beard. But beneath his robes beats a heart of metal.

Brother Cesare is the lead singer in a heavy metal band which has just released its second album.

...

His second heavy metal album, "Misteri" (Mysteries) has just been released.

In a sign of Brother Metal's eclecticism, it drew inspiration from a group of women in southern Italy who sang about Mary, the mother of Jesus, and a heavy metal version of that song is on the CD.

Other songs talk about how alcohol warms the heart but excess drinking can damage the liver, and how important sex is to man.

Is it me or is the Church just driving people into further and stranger corners?

How were these last two uploads? Faster?

For the readers, you may notice the lack of labels on our posts. Long story short, we only have 1GB of through-put on this site and the way Blogger does labels, it may be driving us over that point. We're removing the labels to see if our throughput drops.

I tend to multitask and don't pay any attention to the upload.

I just looked and the hamster wheel is still spinning for this post.

Odd that.

I've noticed that more than once. The post is up - Blogger is still saying that it's loading.

I wonder if that is our problem. We're sending tons of junk data after the post is already on the server.

Of course, now that I think about it, with all the changes I made with removing the labels - Blogger could be doing all kinds of crazy crap!

It might also not be getting the desired response from DotEasy. But then you would think Blogger would would be decent enough to time out and throw up an error.
