Max: Writing A Zombie Story = Terrorism?

LEX18 - Lexington, KY - News, Weather, Sports - Student Arrested For Terroristic Threatening Says Incident A Misunderstanding

A George Rogers Clark High School junior arrested Tuesday for making terrorist threats told LEX 18 News Thursday that the 'writings' that got him arrested are being taken out of context.

Winchester police say William Poole, 18, was taken into custody Tuesday morning. Investigators say they discovered materials at Poole's home that outline possible acts of violence aimed at students, teachers, and police.

Poole told LEX 18 that the whole incident is a big misunderstanding. He claims that what his grandparents found in his journal and turned into police was a short story he wrote for English class.

This news story came back from the dead!

This is an old (really old) news story ...

... that we wrote about before:

And his charges have been dropped:

Ya know what? I don't care about the news or the the atrocities that now comprise our failing society.

I care about you.

I doubt I'm the only one.

So, if you wish, tell us what's going on. Spill. I know you may not want to tell everything. You may not be comfortable sharing anything at all. That's fine.

For a long time we have spouted about the news and politics and such. But, the original intent of IWDC was to be a blog about us. We rarely talk about ourselves anymore.

If you want to share - please do. The floor is open and you public is nearly begging.

I've already written about it multiple times. The only thing new is fear that even at 37 I am nowhere near ready to be a father. Other than that:

Job sucks
Brain sucks
Being broke sucks
Etc.

If it's any consolation, I didn't feel ready to be a parent either. No one ever really does. There are no classes to teach the skills and yet the world goes on. I think your child will have two wonderful caring parents. That's all that matters.

Thanks, mom. :)

We'll manage it, hun. There are far worse people than us that raise kids everyday.
