They don't deserve it. Stupidity should be painful.
I've had enough pain.
Pain is nature's way of saying, "Hey, dumbass! Stop that!"
A) I'm not terribly stupid. If you smack me on the nose with a rolled up magazine - once - I usually get it.
B) When teaching one a lesson, there should be a price (pain, humiliation, etc.) Then, there is information that will lead to things being better. I've gotten the pain and humiliation, now I'll take my info, thanks.
C) Or, at least tell me what I did wrong. Why am I being whacked? That magazine is going to fall apart soon!
Sometimes one can confuse the lesson with the magazine.
You guys know that even if you DID go back in time to give yourselves some tips, you wouldn't take them because, being typical 15 year olds, you'd know better.
